- Booking & Payments
All bookings must be scheduled through the online booking platform unless communicated otherwise.
Bookings are confirmed once you receive a confirmation message or email.
Payment is due at the end of each booking.
Accepted forms of payment include cash or electronic transfer (e.g., Zelle, Venmo).
- Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking total is required.
If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, 100% of the booking total is required.
- Illness Policy
Please inform me as soon as possible if your child is feeling unwell.
I reserve the right to decline care if a child shows signs of contagious illness upon arrival or during the booking.
If a child becomes ill during care, parents/guardians will be contacted to arrange for an early return home.
- Safety & Emergency Procedures
Emergency contact information must be accurate and up to date at the time of booking.
In the event of a medical emergency, emergency services will be contacted first, followed by the parent or guardian.
A parent or guardian must be reachable by phone throughout the duration of the booking.
Clear instructions regarding allergies, medical conditions, or special needs should be communicated prior to the booking to ensure the child’s safety.
- Behavior & House Rules
Please clearly communicate your child’s routines, boundaries, and household rules prior to the booking (e.g., bedtime, screen time limits, dietary preferences, etc.).
Unsafe or inappropriate environments (such as the presence of illegal substances or hazardous conditions) may result in immediate termination of the booking, with the full amount of the booking still required to be paid.
Clear expectations help create a safe and positive environment for everyone involved.
- Liability
While all reasonable measures will be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the child(ren) in care, Blossom & Bloom Babysitting shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, losses, or damages that may occur during the course of the booking, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Blossom & Bloom Babysitting, its owner, and any representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability of any kind arising out of or relating to the services provided.
By booking, the parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) acknowledge that they have read and understood this clause and accept full responsibility for their child(ren) during the scheduled booking period.
- Agreement
By completing a booking through the scheduling platform, the parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions stated above. Booking a service constitutes a legally binding agreement between the parties.
